Guest Artist Michele Yellin, painting exhibition "This is Dwelling house".

Guest artist Michele Yellin brings a series of large scale bold paintings to CMAC with her exhibition "This is Dwelling house". Yellin is a full time artist who creates colour saturated expressionistic paintings with subject matter that is bathetic and simplified. She works with acrylic paint, building upwardly layers with a variety of tools to enrich and enliven the surface of the canvas. It is through this process that the painting begins to tell a story and information technology is how Michele discovers and reveals her inner life. Her promise is that while her story is atypical, information technology resonates with others. Images about connexion, family, retentivity, beloved, joy, mystery, dreams and home are frequent themes.
